It still shows 1 Giant Inverted Boomerang remaining. I just wondered if it could fit where the Nightmare sits?

Well can anyone find the foot print of the boomerang and the foot print of the night mare? Then you can compare them to see if it is a possibility. Also when I went to frontier city yesterday, I saw inside the nightmare building through a crack, and the coaster was still put together inside. Also it was much larger than I thought it was.

after they just installed an inverted coaster, I doubt they'd build another.

My guess is that the entier ride was sold or the park just decided that it wasn`t worth selling. Might be a haunted dark ride of some sort. I hope they give us a return something like "Runnaway Mountain" at SFoT!  Grin

Acer there is now @ least 2 on the market.  Park News - (11/7/08) Looks like I jumped the gun slightly on the Two-Face removal story. While my sources have confirmed without a doubt that the coaster will be removed, the crane(s) were actually on site to apparently load a train back onto the track and off again so they could perform some test runs on the coaster for a potential buyer. One of the test runs was caught on video and uploaded to YouTube.
(11/6/08) A local reader reports that the park has begun the process of removing Two-Face and large cranes are on-site.

I don`t think we`ll ever get it. More especially if the park plans on leaving the building in tact and re-modeling it and placing a new coaster on the inside.

I`m not too sure as to when these photos where taken. But the source I`ve got states that the ride is still being scrapped.

You know if you think about it.  It would be really cool to see the boomerang inside that building and have the towers over topping the building.  Coming out.  I would see something like a black painted rails.  Very cool and just keep the name Nightmare.  Smiley

I see that very awesome and a great possibility.  Haha.  Just a thought?

The ride is toast for sure, but does anyone know if they're actually going to take the building down soon? I've heard it will be used for a haunt next year.
