The Galaxi is still inside the building. I assume it is still for sale. There is no reason to get in a hurry about removing it. Potential buyers can look at it assembled. Dismantling and storing the ride would require a couple of hundred man hours and the use of a winch/boom device ($$$$). Stuff that was stored inside the building has been removed.

Wouldn't get too excited there.  An email from the park told us that the ride is being dismantled and removed.  The building for now will stay.  I've heard they may be turning it into a permanent haunted house.

Yucky poo, that nasty eyesore to stay and it would be cute if it had some sort of a small coaster in it, surely your not talking about a walk thru haunted house! Might as well make it a Frontier City museum! hehe

The Galaxi coaster has been removed and the Nightmare Mine building is now empty. It would be a good facility to house a haunted walk thru. While I'm not too big a fan of those myself, the large attendance at Frightfest indicates that lots of people are.

While I don't consider the building to be beautiful I don't consider it to be an eyesore. Just what is a frontier mine building supposed to look like? I also would like to see a coaster in the building, but that is a very large investment in the current economic climate.

I agree Keener with you on the economics and the fact of making it a walk thru haunted house not xactly what would be idea for it, "Pipedream" wish they incorporate into a mine train type ride! That would be fabulous!

Putting the haunted house inside the nightmare mine building would be the biggest mistake in the history of FC, as it would be even smaller than the already small haunted house in the concert area.

Now if FC used that building, mixed with the haunted house area, already in place, that would be a different story.

I like long haunted houses, since I don't get scared in them. Seeing a haunted house in a small building of only one story, would make for a very unpleasant experience for this haunted house phile.
